We don't sell your data, we don't track you across the web, and we don't use analytics that profile you. This page describes what little we do collect, why, and how to reach us about it.
Second Sun Industries is the AI division of Second Sun Holdings, LLC, an Iowa-domiciled limited liability company headquartered at 610 1st Ave E, Oskaloosa, IA 52577. References to "SSI", "we", "us", or "our" mean Second Sun Industries operating under that parent.
On this website, we collect the following:
- ·Server logs — timestamp, requested URL, response code, IP address, user-agent string. Standard for any web server. Retained 30 days, then discarded.
- ·Email content you send us — when you write to us via a `@secondsunindustries.com` address, we keep that thread to respond, follow up, and reference future work. We delete inactive threads after three years.
- ·No cookies, no analytics, no pixels. The site itself is static. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta pixels, Hotjar, or any other behavioral tracker.
Server logs help us diagnose outages and detect abuse. Email content helps us do our jobs — respond to inquiries, scope projects, and follow up on past engagements. We don't use any of it for advertising, profiling, or machine-learning training, and we don't share it with third parties for those purposes.
We don't sell your data. We share only when required by law (subpoena, court order, or similar legal process), and only to the minimum extent required. If a service provider we rely on (e.g., our email host) processes your data on our behalf, they do so under written agreements that prohibit them from using it for their own purposes.
You can ask us to:
- ·Show you what we have on file about you.
- ·Correct anything that's wrong.
- ·Delete what we have, except where we're legally required to keep records (e.g., for tax purposes).
- ·Stop further contact at any time.

This site is not directed at children under thirteen. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the News page.
